What Happens in Vegas…
Joey Porter and Levi Jones have a history of trash-talking each other on the football field. After all, they were once AFC North rivals — Porter with the Steelers, Jones with the Bengals. Of course, Porter is now in Miami with a new five-year, $32 million deal. Yesterday they took it a step further than the field — to a casino blackjack table in Las Vegas where Porter was issued a summons on a misdemeanor battery charge for punching Jones in the face outside the Palms. You see, what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas! Porter could face up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine (that would be like a $1 fine to me). The fine might happen, but the jail time certainly won’t. It’s a slap on the wrist. Boys! Can’t we all just get along?
