NFL Bad Boys to Meet With Commissioner
It’s kind of like being sent to the principal’s office. Two of the NFL’s most troubled players are on their way to NYC to meet with NFL Commish Roger Goodell. Both Tennessee Titans CB Pacman Jones and Cincinnati Bengals WR Chris Henry have appointments April 3 and punishments will be handed down within 10 days of those meetings. While Commissioner Goodell’s new, stronger player conduct policy has not been formulated, he received input from the teams at the league meetings that concluded today and hopes to have a plan in place before the Draft.

[…] As scheduled, Commissioner Roger Goodell met with NFL bad boys Pacman Jones and Chris Henry today. There was really no news to report from the proceedings — no punishments were announced — but in its wake, news of a Player Advisory Committee surfaced. Commissioner Goodell and the NFL Players Association recently decided to form this committee (it all started back at the Combine) to meet regularly and pore over the issues that concern each side — league officials on one side and the players on the other. Members will most likely include Indianapolis C Jeff Saturday, Philadelphia LB Takeo Spikes, Jacksonville S Donovin Darius and free-agent S Troy Vincent. All of these players were in NYC today to kick off meetings with the Commissioner. […]
