Media Day Surprisingly Calm
Today was Media Day at Dolphin Stadium for Super Bowl XLI. The event usually brings out the nuts, but this year was surprisingly calm. Considering there aren’t really any wild characters on either team to instigate the weirdness, the questions were pretty tame. One of my favorites, though, was asked of Brian Urlacher:
What kind of cookies do you eat?
“Usually chocolate chip. If someone gives me something else, I’ll eat those too. I’m not really picky.”
American Idol rejects Kenneth Briggs and Jonathan Jayne were “covering” the Super Bowl for Jimmy Kimmel Live. And someone was using a monkey hand puppet to ask a question of Bears quarterback Rex Grossman. Other than that, just a regular day of meeting with the press.
