Chargers Get Electrocuted
The San Diego Chargers coaching staff has been completely dismantled. With yesterday’s announcement that Wade Phillips was the new head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, four valued assistants have now moved on to bigger and (they’re hoping) better things. In addition to Phillips, offensive coordinator Cam Cameron is now the head coach in Miami. Tight ends coach Rob Chudzinski is now OC in Cleveland. And linebackers coach Greg Manusky is off to San Fran to handle the defensive coordinator duties. Chargers head coach Marty Schottenheimer really has his work cut out to replace key staff in what has been a short, but already tumultuous (I’ve been waiting to use that word) off season.
