Brett Favre to Tampa Bay or Atlanta?
Blogcasting the National Football League, Blogcasting the NFL
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wants the Green Bay Packers to wrap-up this fiasco that has become Brett Favre’s “unretirement” story. That means the Packers will have to move on without Brett (as they claim they want to) or find a suitable trade partner. What teams have the Packers contacted that are considered realistic candidates for Brett’s services? I could throw out a laundry list of maybe 20 names, but try Tampa Bay and Atlanta as serious contenders. If Brett’s interested, that is. And I don’t know that he is.

The packers organization should have let brett come back and finish what he started. If it wasnt for Brett you could still get a ticket at the door on game day. They made a huge leap from being a small town Stadium to a new updated Icon based on this guy who brought them millions of dollars in revenue oh ya lets not forget Reggie they did the very same thing. I guess when ther done useing you there done hope they didnt cut there noses off despite there faces. new record this year 4-12

Hey Allen if you new anything about the Packers history it started long before Brett Favre came. Brett Favre or not you would not be able to get a single game ticket at the door on game day, are you kidding me?? And too talk about Lambeau Field as being insignificant to the history of football. There is a rich history in that town. Green Bay is where football was born.Granted the Packers are pretty ungrateful for what he has brought to Green Bay and they should give him what he wants and trade him. But you should check your facts. Green Bays record this year 10-6

As a Lifelong Packer Fan, I never thought in a million years that anything could or would ever change by incredible allegance to the Green Bay Packers.
I Grew Up Between Green Bay and Milwaukee and used to go to all the games at Lambeau Field and County Stadium through rain, sleet, and snow, and incredible cold!
Nothing could stop me from going to a Packer game, and nothing could ever tarnish my incredible allegance to the Green Bay Packers.
That is until My Packers not only do not welcome Brett Favre back after retirement, but they completely shun him, and treat him like an outcast.
For some reason, they have forgotten that Brett Favre built the new Lambeau Field and the Executive Offices that the new cowards in charge are hiding out in. This is the same Brett Farve that brought the Packers to within 3 points of the Super Bowl last year, the League MVP runner-up.
This is the same Brett Favre that owns every important record in the NFL record books. The guy who brought the Packers to multiple Super Bowls and won multiple league MVP awards in his 17 years with the Packers.
This is the man who started every game, even when hurt, more games than any other player in NFL history.
The last time Brett Favre did not start a game for the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers was 8 years old.
The Green Bay Packers completely shut the door on a Lambeau Legend a couple months after they forced him to announce his retirement.
What the Green Bay Packers have done to Brett Farve completely sickens me. I am now embarassed to say I am a Packer Fan which I always said so proudly. Even in the very lean years, I was always to proud to say I was a Packer Fan. So proud of the traditions, the integrity of all involved, and the best fans in the world.
I am very sad to say that I am a Packer Fan No Longer. As long as the current leadership is present with the Green Bay Packers, I cannot look at them the same way.
Green Bay Packer Fans have always been an incredibly proud bunch who would never turn on the players no matter how bad things were going (unlike most NFL teams).
Sadly, times have really changed in Green Bay Wisconsin. The leadership team in place does not realize what they have, and how truly unique and special the Green Bay Packer Organization and Fans Are.
They have chosen to blaze their own trail, one that defies logic, and one that violates everything the Green Bay Packers organization and Fans stand for.
Packers Record with Aaron Rodgers (Out after Game 5): 6-10
