Brett Favre Still Undecided About Return
Blogging the National Football League, Blogging the NFL
Here we go again. Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre has not yet made it known whether he will return for an 18th NFL season. And head coach Mike McCarthy says he doesn’t expect an answer from Brett for at least a couple more weeks. I don’t really understand the delay. Sometimes I think Brett likes the drama. But rather than going to the Pro Bowl, he went home to Hattiesburg, Miss. to chill and hang out with his fam. And talk about another season, I’m sure.
As far as I’m concerned, this is a no-brainer. Brett is coming off one of the best seasons of his Hall-of-Fame-to-be career (4,155 yards, 28 TDs, 95.7 rating). And he’s got a very talented young cast of teammates surrounding him. With playoff experience. They just had a 13-3 season. I know things didn’t go as planned in the NFC Championship game against the eventual SBXLII champ Giants. And Brett didn’t have his best game against them. But how much more handwriting could possibly be on the wall? Brett will be back.

Brett Favre is the most exciting QB I have ever seen play the game of football. Although I live in Chicago, I am not a big Bears fan. All I know is, the Bears would have loved to have Brett all these years. God bless him.

Brett Favre Stomps all other QB’s in the league.Yet I think he should come back cause I wouldn’t want my last pass in the NFL to be a game losing interception.I mean yes he “ended” his carrier with one of his be season stats of his lifetime, But I would still wanna come back for the fans and his own sanity. It seems he doesn’t know what to do with his life now that he doesn’t have football in his life.

Re Favre,
I think he is a remarkable person, I would love to see Brett play again, He keeps me hanging onthe sofa seat, It will be a long time for someone like him to come around, he’s rewritten history as far as football goes. The question is how would his return bode with the rest of the Packer team. If the man wants to play let him play be it for whatever team, preferably the Pack.
