Bills’ Trent Edwards Shows Improvement

Blogcasting the National Football League, Blogcasting the NFL
Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards has shown improvement from last year’s rookie season. He’s bigger. Trent has added about 15 pounds to his 6′4″ frame. That’s pretty obvious just looking at him. So, he’s subsequently stronger. He’s more confident. And you can also see his improved footwork. During the team’s OTAs this week, he seemed more comfortable and smoother with his steps. And he seems to be adjusting well to new offensive coordinator Turk Schonert’s style. Head coach Dick Jauron commented:
“I’m really happy with Trent. I have a lot of respect for what he’s done in the offseason. He’s gotten bigger and stronger. I don’t think he’s missed a day — or maybe one — in our offseason workouts since they started in March. He’s in all the meetings. He’s worked hard.”
Of course, how all this translates to the field when the bullets are flying, so to speak, is yet to be seen. That is a few months away. But if his preparation and dedication are any indication of what the results will be, Buffalo fans will have good reason to “Billieve” in Trent Edwards.
