Ever since Madden NFL took over the exclusive license to the National Football League videogame market, the competition has disappeared. 2K Sports is back in the game today with All-Pro Football 2K8. I don’t even know why they made this game, though. It features former NFL players (like John Elway, Jerry Rice and Barry Sanders) in made-up uniforms. It just lacks authenticity. I mean, these are retired or deceased players in fake uniforms. Where’s the appeal? I can’t imagine too many gamers are going to pluck down $59.99 for this. Their slogan is “Imagine Football Resurrected,” but they should have kept this idea buried.

Rent both NCAA 2008 and All-Pro Football 2K8 and play at least 3 games each and then decide where your $59.99 should go, then blog it.

2k sports should have the nfl license
